Dr. Parker is Marion native and a graduate of Marion High School. His wife of over 30 years, Anne, is also a Marion native and teaches at Jefferson Elementary School. They have a son Gabe, and a daughter Bailey.
Dr. Parker is a member of Cornerstone Church, and an active member of the Marion Chamber of Commerce, having served as a past Chairman of the Board. His professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Southern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association.
